Yesterday we had a productive trip to the Capital.  Guatemala has a “Program for Access to Medicines” (PROAM) to help people in remote areas.  We get a large number of our medicines through this program.  Yesterday we received our large order.  Here are the details:

First we had to place the order which can now be done through email.
When the medicines are ready, they call us with the total cost.  In this case:  21,340.61 Quetzales ($2667.58).  We used the opportunity to get rid of all our change and small bills and made the deposit at the bank.

Yesterday we made the drive.  There are still a lot of landslides and one area of lots of pooling water.

We turned in our proof of payment and got our inventory sheet.

The truck was empty.

The truck was full.

When we got home, we unloaded and here is what we got:

Thanks for your monetary donations!  We CAN buy a lot of the medicine we use here for an EXCELENT price.  Look what we got for less than $2700!
