It started raining heavy last night at midnight an it's raining again as I write this update. This may be the start of the rainy season. We have also have had a flood of stuff happening here. Here's a shotgun update. Read as much or as little as you want :)
ZONA REINA: On April 6th, I and two of our visiting students flew to a remote clinic in a village called San Pedro. Here is the album update.
STUDENTS: On April 3rd, Brad and Kristy arrived. They are a married couple who are both medical students. On April 14th, Kristi, another medical student arrived. We have been having lots of adventures together. I'll put a few up in the upcoming posts
CLINICS: It has been a help to have more hands at our clinics. We have been able to see more people than usual. On Tuesday, we will start another new clinic in an attempt to get five clinics per week on a regular basis. We've been getting a little low on some medicines. I put in an order of medicine this week. I've also made a pharmacy inventory.
CHURCH: We have been attending the "gringo" church Sunday mornings which is an English service made up of many Americans and some Mexicans and Guatemalans. In the afternoon, we have continued to help lead worship at Torre Fuerte Church. We are thankful to have purchased some new music equipment--an amplifier, speakers, and a new drum set for Areli.
Well, 3 1/2 months in and we are getting settled in pretty well. We'll keep the updates coming.
