Today we went to the clinic in Canilla on the motorcycle for the first time. It is rough mountain terrain with several thousands of feet of altitude change. We had a few incidents but thankfully no injuries other than a few scratches and bruises. Here's Areli's account of the first incident.
Other than this, we had a bigger spill. It turns out that dust on top of rock is very slippery. We thank our missionary friends, the Fickers and Craig, who got things working again and straightened the handlebars. Unfortunately, on the way back, the motorcycle began having problems again (unrelated to our crashes) so we need to send it for some more work. I've learned to take it a little slower and be more careful with the dust. Thank you for your prayers of protection.
