Areli’s sister Abigail has been serving in Guatemala since June of this year.  We are excited to join her for a month in 2025.  More to come on that later.  Here is her story:

My name is Abigail L. Garcia. I was born and raised in Mexico City. When I was 15 years old, I was diagnosed with leukemia. God protected my life for the next 4 years that I was in treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In March 2014, I had a bone marrow transplant. The prognosis was not good. But the Lord healed me! He answered the prayers of my family and many brothers and sisters in Christ from several countries for which I am grateful.

I studied medicine in Mexico City. When I finished my degree, I worked for a while in a private clinic. I have also served the Lord in the Children's Ministry of my church for several years. I met Adonai International Ministries through my sister Areli and her husband Sherwood. They have a lot of love for this ministry.

Now I have been able to help the people of Canillá, Guatemala. My sister and her husband have supported me economically and spiritually during my stay here. I arrived in Guatemala in June, 2024. My plan was to help for a month and return to Mexico City to look for a new job. But the Lord's plans were different. I have been here for several months now and I am grateful to the Lord for allowing me to serve here and for giving me the opportunity to see his love in AIM day by day.
