Happy Fourth of July!

I will be making a quick trip to Guatemala. Alone. An opportunity arose to serve at Hospital Adonai as they are temporarily very shorthanded. It worked out with my schedule since I had already requested the week off. I will leave tomorrow, and my mission is to fill in for a week to help cover the hospital and clinic needs. This will be a bittersweet trip since I have never made a solo trip before, but Areli and the girls are excited about the opportunity to serve God together—even though we will be physically apart this time.

Prayer Requests:

• Safety and smoothness of travel.
• God’s grace for our family to adapt to being apart for a week.
• Wisdom in treating patients as this will be much different than what I have been doing recently in Detroit.
